Goalkick is a development program to introduce young boys and girls aged 5 and 6 to the game of soccer in a non-competitive and fun environment.
Goalkick is run on Sundays beginning on April 27 and concludes with our BIG BREAKFAST PRESENTATION on the 31st August. Each session will run for approximately 75 minutes. This will be broken down into 15 minutes of skills development led by an experienced coach, followed by a small sided 4v4 game where the players can “practice” the skills they learned during the skills session, and ending with goal kicking practice. There will be more emphasis this year on small sided games.
For further information on our Goalkick program, please see our Goalkick FAQ below.
This year we are hiring a qualified skills coach so that our youngest players will acquire the fundamental skills necessary to progress. However, we invite all GoalKick Mums and Dads to help out on game day w/the skills session and as team leaders during the small sided games. Both the club and your child will appreciate having you involved. No soccer experience is necessary. A “team leader” training night will be held at the club prior to the commencement of the season to acquaint our parent volunteers w/the rules of the small sided games.
If you would like to speak to someone about our Goalkick program or to volunteer to help out, please contact our goalkick coordinator Peter Stephenson at renfilm@aol.com or at home (evening /weekends) on 9533 5976.
